This 3 hour program will focus on accommodating people with disabilities in their use of service animals. Federal, State and local laws will illustrate the need for these accommodations. Service animals may include animals used for assistance, therapy, social, or as companions. The type of animals that may be used varies dramatically. Medical documentation may be requested, but what you do with that information is critically important in adhering to the laws protecting people with disabilities. It is not a reason, excuse, or defense to claim you did not know the law
