2024 Democratic National Convention
The Democratic National Convention (DNC) will be taking place in Chicago from August 19th – August 22nd. This event will bring large amounts of visitors to the city and feature increased security in the downtown area. It is important for apartment managers in Chicago to be prepared for any possible disruptions that this event may cause. The City of Chicago has released a DNC toolkit that provides useful information for the public. Included in the toolkit are the most up to date perimeter maps and a link to the Office of Emergency Management and Communication (OEMC) website for more information. The public can also download the OEMC app from the app store as another source of information on this event. Additionally, the Titan Security Group has prepared a useful one-stop DNC Security Resource Center for those interested in having access to all relevant DNC information in one location.
