CAA Coronavirus Update – March 11, 2020
The health and safety of our professional community is of the utmost importance to us.
The Chicagoland Apartment Association (CAA) continues to monitor the evolving situation related to the spread of COVID-19. We understand concerns for health and safety have the potential to impact event attendance, and we recognize these issues are top of mind for our members, partners and Trade Show & Education Conference (TSEC) participants.
At this time, all CAA events are still taking place as planned, and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure a safe experience for our members, partners and event participants. During the upcoming TSEC event, we encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
As concerns about COVID-19 grow, we will continue to follow the directives issued by the CDC, the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) for convening events. We will keep all exhibitors and attendees informed of any and all further developments as the situation evolves.
If you are looking for guidance on dealing with the coronavirus, NAA has complied information and released a free webinar that is available here. If you are involved in a 2019-nCoV case with a resident, please contact NAA so that they may provide further guidance.”
